Six flags Magic Mountain
Why did you choose this topic?
I chose this topic because I have recently become intrigued
by this topic. Six flags Magic Mountain is an Amusement park that was opened in
May of 1971. When it opened it was home to 33 rides. The cost to build the park
in 1971 was 20 million dollars. It was originally named Magic Mountain until it
was bought by six flags eight years later in 1979 and it became known as Six
flags Magic Mountain. Out of the 22 original rides seven still remain. As of December
2017 Six flags Magic Mountain is home to 19 rollercoasters which is the most in
any amusement park. The original theme of the park was about cute gnomes who
lived in a magic mountain. Six flags Magic Mountain is made up of 262 acers. In 2016 the park placed seventeenth in amusement
park attendance in North America. The park in total has 43 rides. Six flags
Magic Mountain is home to the world’s first looping roller coaster which is Great
American Revolution. Six flags Magic Mountain is also home to the world’s
tallest and fastest looping coaster which is Full throttle. Six flags Magic
Mountain is also home to the world’s first 4d coaster which is X2.
